Homestuck

https://www.mspaintadventures.com
It’s a story about these 4 kids, and then there was 12 more and some other characters as well. It takes about 500 pages to pick up. But then shit gets shitten and shit is real.
The Intermission is pretty good you should at least read that.

Once in a while there will be these flash pages which are bees knees.
https://www.mspaintadventures.com/?s=6&p=003840
Don’t watch them all tho if you don’t want to get major spoilers, like that flash spoils p.much everything that happens in act whogivesafuck.

There are like 4000 pages currently and there is a whole load of text in the form of logs(character development for +20 fags, do the maths)

Problem Sleuth is easier to read and more silly and less builduppy
https://www.mspaintadventures.com/?s=4&p=000219

yeah p.good

What is this exactly?

Basically it’s a webcomic following the very surreal adventures of four friends both online and in real life (and seen from multiple view points). To say much more would be to give away the story.

boring that’s what. Sure some of the captions can make me smile, but it’s like reading a backlog of your fave webcomic when you’re not up to date.

Except not as fun.

With far more clicking ‘next page’

With less laughs.

ur just dumb and dont geddit
but really problem sleuth is a p.good starting point

Sorry bro, don’t like your fave kind of monotony. kthx

Ha, been following the comic since the bard quest days. I never brought it here because most users don’t have the sense a humor compatible with home struck or the background knowledge required for many of the jokes (especially all of the data structure jokes in the beginning). Also problem sleuth starts a little too slow for some people around here.

well it starts faster and is shorter than homestuck, and nobody reads bards quest or jailbreak
perfect starting point

but yeah you aren’t supposed to read this like any webcomics for shitty daily laffs
it’s like a visual novel but in webcomic form

kinda

Personally I think it’s brilliant.

People with absolutely no patience to read it all are doomed to not like it, obviously.

I like how all of the characters are introduced in a way where it’s relatively easy to keep track of who’s who, despite having a ton of them.

well to me, webcomics work well in the format, and this doesn’t

I’d say with it being a ‘novel’ it would work well loading more than one onto a page at once, but then what suspence you get from reading the blurb is lost? I dunno ¬_¬

I wouldn’t even really call it a webcomic…

Read carefully. I wasn’t :expressionless:

Siggs: I’m now going to find a thread about something you like, and then make dozens of posts about why I don’t quite like it, hoping that at some point someone will do something about it.

All that just for stating and trying to explain my opinion?

have you played Snatcher, Siggs?

Nope. And you’re losing your touch mate, you’ve pulled that one on me too many times

Just that you apparently care so much about this not-quite-webcomic that you post multiple times in the thread. If you don’t care about it, go somewhere else. You’re not positively contributing.

Just interested to see what people see in it. Oh, that and replying to people like yourself.

But, for the sake of topic, I guess I should try and keep my mouth shut now. C’mon, somebody say something constructive then…

dicks

3, precisely. Only when it’s true.
And why so defensive, Ross?
