Anytime I try to start up the game it keeps telling me that there is no disk in device and will start flashing spazmatickly it has gotten to the point that I’m start to think that the program is just a strobe light can anyone give a hint of whats going wrong?
Is it a legal copy of HL2? Are you using Steam?
yes it is steam and it is legal copy of half-life 2
Well, that’s weird that is asking for a disk.
You can always try to verify the files. Right click on the HL2 entry on your Steam games list, go to properties, go to local files tab and click on verify integrity of game cache.
I tryed that hl2 plays fine I’m talking about black mesa it’s the Source SDK Base 2007 hl2.exe file thats giveing me the problems.
Oh. Have you verified the SDK Base files then?
