This thread is for discussing anything involving the history of our species. Now to start off:
Who won the third Crusade? Wikipedia didn’t make it clear for me. Some said Saladin won, some said Richard/Baldwin/whatever won
Anyone care to explain?

The third crusade was a bit of grey when it comes to victors. Richard the Lionheart and his cronies did manage to beat Saladin outright at Jaffa, however they failed to recapture Jerusalem which was the crusades’ ultimate goal. The fourth crusade was the best; the Christians basically got off at Constantinople and sacked it thinking it was a Muslim city.
Favourite period of human history would have to be Russian history for the first half of the 20th century. Literally, none of it makes any sense at all Stalin was a complete mentalist.
Human civilisation lost when the crusades started happening.
I think the cavemen were badass. If they weren’t badass and fought wolves with sticks, we wouldn’t exist now.
There’s so much I want to say about Stalin, but there’s also so much I’m afraid to say about Stalin. :3
He was certainly one hell of a man…
