Yeah uh I wouldn’t recommend that. One or more 2 of things will happen. 1 they’ll all laugh at you. 2 someone will rob you for your HEV suit.

Them hoodlems with their .40 cal glock 22’s and tire irons are sneaky. They could steal the wheels off your car while you’re at a stop light if you’re not careful. That and the HEV suit is not designed to stop bullets.
It still seems to do it quite well however.
However, the only bullets it actually seems to stop well are the 9mm rounds from the MP5 and Glock. A .40 cal round out of a glock 22 might be a different story given that it has better penitration. But seeing as how we are talking about a fictional suit, I think this is all theories and speculation. Both of which hold no real weight.
Use this design for HEV with helm.
Just slap some orange over it and it’ll be fine.
I think what BMS has already for the HEV is great. If Valve made it no-one would be complaining about how it looks as it won’t surface to their mind.

I think the arm part looks like its made of some type of cloth, i think it should be shined and some of the scratches should be taken out, also the hand “plates” or “armor” or whatever you call them look a bit like patches of cloth as well, i think adding an extra shine and half an inch of extra thickness would make it look better also. Just a suggestion though

I think it’s a fairly good suggestion, really. I would be happy with the arms as they are, but you can always go that little bit further.
Wait, are those things on the hand SUPPOSED to be patches of cloth? Because i zoomed in on them and they look EXACTLY like sewn on cloth patches. And again about the scratches, don’t you think Black Mesa would take better care of there suites? I mean, they couldn’t of been roughed up THAT match by doing what, pushing carts around?

So why does it look so much like cloth? The rest of it is three inches thick, how com th back of the hands get off so easily when that’s what would (most likely) need the most protection in a hazmat-warranting situation?
