Try and stay on topic, even if there isn’t much to talk about please. By the way, I’ve added a little bit of information on the Grunts armour, what I want to know is what is the model of gas mask that has been chosen, so I can add that too, for anyone that’s interested.
edit: It could possibly be the M40 Gas Mask but I’m not sure, anyone know?
I created a ‘Locations’ category for articles like Xen, Black Mesa Research Facility, and Anomalous Materials Laboratories, as well as others, but strangely it was suddenly deleted. What is everyone’s thoughts on the category? Is it unnecessary?
Well, for starters it’s kind of redundant. There’s already a chapters page which has all of the locations in the game. And there’s also the fiction page.
“Fiction” seems hardly fitting at all as it’s all technically fiction. What is it even supposed to encompass?
I thought the lore, but anomalous materials is in there.
The only thing I can seem to see needing a ‘lore’ type category is the resonance cascade, honestly.

I feel a location category is a perfectly legitimate category, considering there are several wiki articles about locations. I just wish Carlos had given a detailed deletion reason other than “Only contributor is Deathmonkey7”. Just leaves me confused.
ASIDE from the issue that has been brought up repeatedly about how “locations” is technically just another name for “chapters”, unless you exclude the chapters, which left two pages that fit that category, which isn’t nearly enough to justify it’s own category…
“Fiction” was made as a catch-all for pages that exist only to further information about the fiction and nothing else. Otherwise, I would be deleting those pages, because they don’t actually tell people anything about the mod itself, but are just explaining backstory.
I prefer this because it’s a broader category that can catch more pages. You’ll notice it can hold character, locations, and anything else that is purely story/fiction related but not related to another existing category.
If this category were to get really full of pages, and there were suddenly 6 pages in there that COULD possibly benefit from a locations category, than maybe we could consider.
as it is, locations had 5 pages in it, only 2 of which were actually valid and 3 of which were existing chapters (and as we said…technically all chapters could be included here).

If not, what are you going for with the doctor? HL2-ish with slight distinctions? HL2-ish but with brown hair? Or like the Popular Magazine from the HL2 Lab board?
I doubt they will care for the Gordon model… well, maybe for multiplayer?
The last thing I want to see is everyone using the Gordon model in DM.
