Yeah, i know, source of picture?
:facepalm:
Well could it be… from one of the devs perhaps?!
Oh and fong, if you’re going to edit the wiki, please use correct grammar:
edit: Also, I even remember in half life that uranium could be found all the time towards the end of the game, it’s just because the guns use it up so quickly that may seem like that.
Me
Good.
To clarify, Carlos gave us a bunch of small to medium sized pictures of various items so that we could generate proper thumbnails for the wiki.
Old lurker here, just recently got to being active-ish on the forums.
Gotta say smashing job on that wiki - the timeline, all those new thumbnails, those extra borders for the videos… it just adds a nice extra polish to the wiki, and it’s a damn good polish.
15/10. A++ good show. (I know this isn’t much seeing as it’s from some random dude…but hey some support is better than no support, right?)
Indeed, your support is much appreciated! Just wait until you see it after release when we actually have a mod to derive information from
But then again, when the mod is release who the hell is gonna wanna look at the wiki?
lol, I’m sure some one will find it useful. I know that it has at least eased the waiting pains for some users. Also I have learned way more about the mod that I ever thought I would care to. Digging through old logs, posts, and even digital archives searching for dates and lost media is a quick way to get a good grasp on every little detail.
Also here is fix for the dropimages. (the boxes that you click on to make the rest of the content appear)
replace this
{{dropimage|width=100%|<gallery style= widths=“110px” heights=“110px”>
with this
{{dropimage|width=100%|hhta=left|hfs=9pt|hfc=#989495|cfs=9pt|cfc=#989495|<gallery style= widths=“110px” heights=“110px”>
this will cause the dropimage galleries match the same formatting as a normal gallery.
Well, basically anyone who hadn’t heard of the mod before release, gonna look at the wiki to see what it’s all about, see it’s awesome, then download it.
EDIT: :ninja:
w00t! I just made everyones (and by everyones I mean Deathmonkey7 and myself) lives easier!!
NOW to embed youtube videos with the fancy wrapper all you have to do is this
one video
{{Video|<videoflash>VideoURL1|300|250</videoflash>|text1}}
two videos side by side
{{Video2|<videoflash>VideoURL1|300|250</videoflash>|text1|<videoflash>VideoUrl2|300|250</videoflash>|text2}}
this will automatically place the video in the fancy warper and you don’t have to deal with all that ichy code
You, sir, are a god!
haha thx Deathmonkey
now I just need hubi to install Parser_function_extensions. Then I could program in pages using nothing but wiki code.
PLZ hubi!!! It’s really simple to install!!!

require_once( “$IP/extensions/ParserFunctions/ParserFunctions.php” );
to the bottom of LocalSettings.php.
Hello BM fags*, im watching you say about 2 months now, i tried to read all threads i missed, but it is imposible… I really want to know, what will happen to half of you when once the game will be released? and wiki is nice…
EDIT: FANS*
What a strange thread to post that in. But in all honesty, I’m not quite sure what you mean when you say “What will happen to you”. Do you expect some cataclysmic event to take place once the mod is release? I expect we’ll continue with our lives much as we have been.
I meant that all of u spend here a few hours a day? heh.
Yes this thread, because of last sentence “and wiki is nice…”
Because of that gas-mask in your avatar, your words sound like they’re spoken through a gas-mask in my head.
Okay, taking our OMG WTF BBQ AWSUM wiki into consideration, what would be the fate of “media” section? To hell with it, maybeh?
what do you mean the fate of the media section? There is always gonna be someone that hasnt played the game, and they will want to see screenshots of it before installing and firing it up.
No, a better question is what will be the fate of MY media. It is one thing for the mod makers to have tons of screenshots. It is a totally different thing if some geeky fan has a bunch of screenshots.

Anyway, I think the media is a valuable asset before and after release.
That is the eventual plan, more or less.
