It would be really awesome to see more archived chapter design screenshots, like what we’ve got on the ST and Inbound pages. They’re really effective of showing how the levels have changed over time and I think people will find it interesting.
Yeah, those redesign histories are my favorite parts of the wiki. I definitely wouldn’t mind more.
Downloads catz massive archive of images, there is heaps from past iterations of most of the levels.
EDIT: Appears I extracted and uploaded the entire archive to my web site a while back:
https://cazzaserver.com/bms/media/
That archive is my screensaver!
But it’s still nice to hear about the devs’ thought process.
I’m honestly quite amazed at how many of those shots I have never seen before.
How do I download that whole thing as a zipped folder, or something?
those are like, really old
Yeah, I’ve had these on my HDD for ages
Catz has the zip somewhere on her site
Whoa guys! check this out: https://cazzaserver.com/bms/media/63-HUD/63-4_ingame2_f.jpg
That Vort looks SWEEET! So much better and more detailed than the HL2 ones or the early BMS ones!
Hum, it IS an HL2 vort.
Yeah, and now they’re using the Ep2 vorts.
nvm, it sounded better in my head :<
Oh wow. You have chewed through half a gig of bandwidth already.
Something bothering me and would know your opinion guys :
In wiki it’s stated that the mp5 contain only 5 m203 grenades unlike 10 in the original. I’m wondering if it’s a mistake or we really have so few ammo ?
To be honest I think five is enough, compared to the three from HL2.
Half-Life let you carry a ridiculous amount of ammo, for example; 125 Shotgun Shells, compared to HL2’s 30.
Also, edited thisbottom part a bit, adding 2 screenshots of the development process and modifying the text slightly.
Maybe you’re right.
@Mr. Someguy : I’ve edited one of your text with an old one (same pic as in the media which I’ve taken out).
Did you guiz still need this?

I have not kept up with what is going on in the wiki, so ya’ll will still want to review that for new stuff offered in the last 6 months.
