It’ll be fixed soon enough.
I have gone through pages 16-118 in the got a question thread, but school work is catching up and I don’t really have the time to continue copying it. If someone would like to take over, PM with your email me I can send you the .txt document with the quotes in it. The .txt only has pages 25-118 on it because I was foolish enough to start copying pages 16-24 by down by hand, and so I will have to recopy said pages, but what I’ve got is a good start for anyone who is interested in continuing it.
Added something to the HEV Charger page. Suprised no one had done this earlier, actually.
Well, I’ve compared the 2 on my PC, but that was before the wiki came along. Hadn’t really put much thought into it afterward.
Ah yes. Good work Sir Fridgealot
I had never noticed the comparison. Pretty cool actually.
Yeah, me either. I didn’t know that’s what they based their design off of. Nice.
And you call yourselves Half-Life fans. For shame…
Lol I’ve never said I was a Half-Life 2+ fan :3
I sure have.
Well, I knew of the faceplate in HL2, but I didn’t know BM was basing theirs off of it. Maybe I used to know. Seems like something I should have known.
Well it makes sense to use that one instead of a newly designed one, just putting it up there to inform the masses to show that the devs know what they’re doing.
Why make BM then?
Edit:
Responding to old post. Oops
It makes sense to use that existing design because it maintains continuity within the timeline, so what kind of question is that?
^ this
yeah… it’s not as if they redesigned Eli, or headcrabs, etc. Using a design from HL2 is perfectly sensible.
A joke my good man
Something’s actually bothering me about the Eli model:
His neck looks WAAAAAAAAAAY to small and disproportionate to the rest of the body. I guess you could say its not tall enough, thats the only way i could describe it. And I HATE to be one to nitpick, but it just doesn’t look right to me.
Also, who’ll be providing the vocals for good ole Dr. Vance?
Good question.
He has quite an unique voice; the voice actor doing the scientists in general can of course do Kleiner, but Eli… it’s a very different character.
I’m curious about that too. I hope they got someone to do a decent job. I don’t imagine Robert Guillaume is very easy to emulate if you don’t already sound like that.
