Can anyone help me install the legacy mod for present-day devices (all the tutorials I’ve seen on youtube are too old) I have the full steam release game as well. Please help me install this. (Please describe it with detail but not too technical (I’m dumb) ?(
Shouldn’t the Windows 7 installation work for Windows 8 too? There aren’t any changes in the filesystem structure or anything like that, so Windows 7 tutorials should work for you just fine.
If you are trying to install the mod version (I believe that’s the ,legacy mod, you’re talkin’ about), simply download the torrent file on moddb, run the executable (It’ll automatically find the Steam/steamapps/sourcemods folder) and install.
You also need to have SDK Base 2007 installed from Steam’s Tool tab, and after this, you’re ready to go.
