Hello World. I'm BuzzKillington

Thought I’d make an introduction on this forum.

Hello fellow Half-Life and Valve fans. I’m a 19 year old studying Pharmacology and Psychiatry at the U of M. I’m a moderator of several Wikipedia pages on different drugs. In fact, one of my articles - Amphetamine - has been nominated as a candidate for being chosen as the best page on Wikipedia of the year. It takes a ton of work to achieve that since anyone can make posts on wikipedia and fuck up your information. Also, with anything medically related on Wikipedia - you are not allowed to make a medical claim without at least 2 studies backing that claim up.

Alright now that I’ve got some bragging out - I’ll tell you a little bit about myself. I played Half-Life for the first time in 1998 when it came out. My fathers computer couldn’t handle the graphics at the time, but I tried to get through as much of the game as possible. A couple years later when I found out the game had come to PS2, I was ecstatic and bought it instantly. That’s when I fell in love with Valve and Half-Life, it’s also what made me a gamer.

Anyways, other than that … my bio pretty much says it all. I’m a part time drug addict, and a full time student. For some reason, there’s a ton of hot chicks going into pharmacy and psychiatry. Which is awesome for me because I like… well to be blunt. I like receiving blowjobs lol; Too bad it doesn’t happen all the time like some of the other guys in my courses. I mean seriously… I just signed up on a forum dedicated to Half-Life! :expressionless: Not really a ladies guy, but I can get lucky sometimes

Otherwise. Here I am, just another anonymous bystander of the internet.

Hi. Don’t kill any buzzes. Or we’ll kill you in revenge.

Welcome!

Having lurked on this forum for a couple months… I believe you would lol

Thank god. I came expecting another advertisement thread. Welcome Buzzkillington.

Don’t expect any blowjobs though ok. You can complain about lacking in them in the Rage thread though, but I’m sure you already knew that

you played half-life when you were three?

Yes sir. My dad actually bought it. He’d been a HUGE Sierra fan since the early 80’s. He said he’d bought most every Sierra game at one point or another. It was a lot of fun talking to him about it. Telling me how it always pissed him off that Kings Quest would come on multiple 5.25" floppy disks; and since the game is about going back and fourth through the levels - you would constantly have to shuffle the floppy disks - wait 3 minutes for them to be dumped into the RAM, and then you could continue.

Anyways, I know now that Valve was actually the developer of Half-Life (obviously). But since Sierra was the original publisher of the game - and since no game publisher can resist slamming their logo on top of someone elses game - he saw the Sierra logo and bought it without question.

Anyways, Half-Life was extremely different from what he was used to playing, and so he quit playing it… maybe 20 minutes? (I don’t really remember) after the Resonance Cascade. So he let me play it (because all he saw was whacking zombies with a crowbar and didn’t know that there were guns in the game (even though the tip of Freemans shot gun is shown in the cover of the CD case) so he let me play it. He also had no idea that there was killing of human’s in the game. If he’d known that - he would of never let me play it.

Uh, hello.

Greetings.

Do you know why W. S. Gilbert was frequently drunk on his trans-atlantic crossings? Because he was quartered on the ‘port’ side. Hehe, now that I’ve got you; lets both revisit the birth of the doily-cot opera company.

I’m 99% sure that’s from family guy

[/SIZE]Hi Buzzz!

methinks to myself…I’ve got socks older than him.

You’ve got socks that are over 20 years old?! Wow… My condolences to your feet… :expressionless:

nah, they are of old-timey quality, back when things didn’t fall apart when you touched them

They were hand-made by Reagan himself.

One thing always holds true here… shit from back then is far more durable than today’s equivalent shit…

And hai.

I agree, but to be fair - most machines today have many more moving parts. The more moving parts - the more likely it is to break.

Yeah, but even things like… I dunno, cheese graters. I’m using a cheese grater my grandma used to use. That thing is like 30 years old, and it’s still holding up just fine. Also, Chickenprotector, don’t make any more relevant posts, because 666 post count is awesome.

Yeah, they used to actually make quality products, now they just make whatever sells the fastest and breaks right after warranty runs out

That’s funny because I broke at least 5 cheap dollar store cheese graters while washing the dishes. (we don’t have a working dishwashing machine)

They break like those disposable plastic cups.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
