Because most of the facility is indoors?
It’s urban camo, not winter camo. That said, probably the most effective urban camouflage would be straight grey.
Or maybe their “Cloth supplier” misinterpreted “urban camo” with "(put camo colour here) camo.:retard:
Maybe who gives a goddamn fucking shit, it stays true to the original design, I don’t know what the big complaint is.
First Guy who does a multicam skin should get a medal of honor
after release tho

Urban Camo is a bitch to get right on uniforms, and it only seems to be effective when you have a large surface to work with like a Vehicle as shown by the Berlin Brigade.
Meanwhile, The Marines do have a Official Urban Version of MARPAT, though they haven’t issued it to anyone.
With these two patterns based on the only 2 samples that are floating around
How about this?
Is this what you’re looking for?
It’s more likely to fit swamps rather than urban landscapes.
The Camo is fine, but I agree with the logo. I dunno why they changed it.
This is by far the coolest camouflage pattern I’ve seen.
Yeah it is, so cool, the Filipino Presidential Guard paints their vehicles in it and based their uniforms on it.
Also I just noticed something, the HL1 Camouflage and the Filipino PSG Camo use the exact same color palette
Where the fuck is this logo everyone seem to be complaining about anyway? Do they have it on their helmets, their sleeves, or where? And even if they do, and if it is large enough to be recognizable, who will give a flying fart about it?
I certainly won’t examine the dead bodies of HECU marines and then go like: “Aww man, they have the totally wrong logo on their uniform! Geez, that ruins my day. I’ma quit this game now.”
get real.
You should say that to the TF2 forums on steam. You’ll immediatly get flamed to death.
But yeah, I agree with you.
Yeah it doesn’t really matter anyway…
I didn’t notice it until the OP pointed it out.
The more I look at the BM camo, the more ‘arctic’ it looks, with its smooth pattern and large amount of white. I always pictured urban camo being sharp, grey (or even slightly blue?) and the pattern scale to be smaller.
Still, as others have said, the current models / textures are brilliant, although I expect we’ll see 1000’s of reskins after release.
Well it makes them look like they’re U.S. Army Cavalry with that horse head beret flash.
It’s a fictional logo; how does it make them look like any real branch of the armed forces? =/
I don’t think the camo is something that will be changed. In the original Half-Life the color scheme was selected to provide contrast so soldiers don’t blend into their environment (which is really the opposite of camouflage’s purpose) - over the course of development we tried a number of color schemes and settled on this one.
Horse = U.S. army Calvary:
Also the original beret flash looks better to be honest.
Really, could you show us some of the schemes you tried? :3
