HECU HL1 Radio chatter swap - now w/ original dialogue.

Two words and two words only - it works.

Even better:

P.S. On the second paragraph - you’ve pretty much recited what I was saying from release.

That’s the idea. I was always a proponent of that the game should feel like good-ol’ HL (not necessarily look like it) - so after my first playthrough I have spent a considerable amount of time compiling a number plug-ins that brought in the old vibe back - everything from music and weapon sounds to old vort skins.

P.S.S. Oh and Mike’s audition was brilliant. Especially this bit:
soundcloud.com/michaeltsarouhas … -michael-1
Hopefully with some solid directing we get a result.

In HECU Uber testosterone voice MOTHER OF GOD!

That soundbite of Mike was freaking wonderful, it’s going to be fun fighting him! Err…wait…

Also ODB you seem very experienced with the NPC lines of HL and BM, do you know why the HL vox has a lot of unusual phrases that I (think) have never heard such as idiot, adios and amigos? Were these just lines recorded for modders or as part of some E3 demo?

Okay guise, would anyone like this nostalgia pack done for the steam version? I am feeling like launching audacity and faceposer again.
If so, I woill need your guidance. Anyone can point me towards an instruction on how to properly submit your own stuff on workshop?

I´m sure a lot of people would love that. I know I would. Care for some suggestions?

I’d start working on it now, but in the light of recent news about the new version of the publisher royally fucking up on people…
It really just involves a lot of listening and typing on my part (as the pack is practically over with), but with until the recent troubles, I dunno if I can be bothered as I that would mean tapping into a valuable (unpaid) vacation time.

Sucks.
