I’ve only blocked out the general shape of the room so far. I haven’t gotten to putting in details or whatnot.

I’m not changing it though. It’s funny as hell. Besides, I’m not even sure how to fix it in the first place. Source physics isn’t my strong suit.

There are very few places where you’d be able to actually damage the camera anyway. I guess if all else fails, I’ll just disable player pickup. But that’s no fun.

If it’s modified to be damaged by physics objects, depending on how we decorate then that could help add more destructible cams :smiley: Also, changing it’s solidity could clear away the flying problem. It’ll clip other pieces, but the player can’t collide with it.

So, now that we’ve got the physics room up to a playable state, what’s our next gray area to worry about? Power station training, right? Who’s in charge, how is it gonna be changed if at all, let’s discuss.

I have some ideas about the power station and damage indicators. I’d block out a very rough orangemap, but I won’t dedicate myself to decorating it if I do. Someone else will have to do that.

Doing that will cause it to not hang properly.

I could decorate it once it’s blocked out.
Not really sure what else I can do with the obstacle course at the moment anyway, it’s not nearly done but I’m out of ideas on how to make it look better.

I agree its funny, but its gets easier to get to places you are not supposed to be at.

You’d only be able to damage and destroy the camera in places after the shooting range anyway.

I actually prefer Observation rooms whenever possible. And I think putting way too many cameras everywhere kind of ruins their novelty after the player sees one around every corner.

That reminds me, what is actually the purpose of all the consoles in the lobby in the original PS2 Hazard Course?If its to observe using the cameras, then we need to add some skins to the silo monitors I guess…

I was planning myself to add an achievement to the physics room, but I never brought the topic up in the chat or the thread.I personally like the idea of having achievements for the extras we added, or add some secrets that trigger an achievement.

Right, In the power charging station (HEV charger) you can see a view of the “canals”(is that the right term?) of the Hazard Course in the right side of the original?

Yes, I believe so. It’s where the player does the swim training. Last I checked Dky was going for that being more a large water treatment plant than canals, though. But “last time I checked” happens to be in October, so I may be incorrect (or possibly outdated). Of all the maps that have been orange-mapped that’s actually the area I don’t have much knowledge about.
