when I was growing up I was always wondering why there was no violence and death in any of the stories we were reading, yet I enjoyed all of the violence and death in the movies I was watching.
I haven’t read the books, but I have enjoyed each movie more than the last. I loved the battle between Dumbledore and Voldemort in… Whichever movie that was… I thought that was what all wizard battles before it had wanted to be, but failed miserably at attaining.
I don’t spend money on them though. I wait for them to come onto cable TV so that I can watch them there. I broke this rule with half Blood Prince, but only because I saw half of it on the flight back from Las Vegas and really wanted to see the rest of it, and didn’t want to wait the six months for it to come to cable, so I rented it.
Even though I want to see the next one, I will be waiting for cable again most likely.
