Congrats! It’s definitely something worth paying for, but I hope you guys improve the soldier AI a bit please
TBH I’ll see how much it will cost, since currency and wages are much lower in value, well, my problem. Congratulations and good luck!
Thanks for all your hard work, I’m eager to see what comes next! You’ve already got my purchase and full support
Or “just” Source SDK Base 2013 ?
I don’t think they would have ported to that twice.
We can’t sell on the 2013 SDK because selling on the SDK is forbidden.
You specified that you had an agreement with VALVe, but you are making a game with their IP and distributing it on their distribution system. I don’t believe you specified the agreement with them was about the engine. LOL! Since you were being crytic about the engine you’re using, I was curious if you were porting it to some other engine outside of the Source family.
Just wondering. LOL! I won’t dig anymore.
God damn
I am so happy for you guys! I’m speechless, I can’t believe it…
For Valve to entrust you with their baby, their first brainchild, AND to give you permission to sell it!.. Wow, just plain wow.
Besides the buckets of cash this will bring in (which you all deserve) what I am most excited about is how this will massively enlarge the expose of the game.
Needless to say I am buying this on day one! - Unless there is a sale, in which case I’ll wait for the sale to end and then buy at the regular price.
Thank you Black Mesa Dev Team, thank you for all your years of hard working dedication to this masterpiece. And thank you to Valve for having the vision and humility to endorse this. Every now and then I forget why they are the best company on earth. Ty for the reminder.
I can’t (but can) wait to be Xenward Bound!
Take all of my money, please!
Oh interesting.
congrats to the dev team… you made hl better! now more people will be able to enjoy this awesome game.
will we get BM running on linux for steam os? is that why you had to change the engine?
Don’t forget the Mac also.
Engine details will be released at a later date. Valve contract details won’t be released. (NDA)
Will Xen be in the free version?
I’ll definitely pay for it.
As stated, Xen is way off, the free version will definitely come before it, so I guess no.
'Grats. You’ve got my cash once things come to a head.
Out of curiosity, will the retail version come before or after Xen is finished?
If before, will Xen be added as a patch like Valve did with L4D2’s L4D1 campaign ports?
L4D2 had Xen levels?
L4D1 ports. NM, etc.
I know.
I’ll fix my question.
When Xen is finished will it be added to the free version?
