I find it funny, how when there’s a good free mod (like MINERVA, or Black Mesa: Source) people will say “omg dis mod is great i wud pay moniez for dis!” But when you now CAN pay for the good mod (like Garry’s Mod 10 or the upcoming They Hunger), now everyone says “omg wtf you sell out!” No matter how low the price is.
So, you see, Garry Newman works hard on his mod. He deserves a little money every now and then. If Garry’s Mod was a full $50, then I would understand the pissy attitude. However, it’s only TEN DOLLARS! If Garry really wanted to piss in everyone’s face he would update his game once every year and charge for the updates, EA Sports style. Instead, it’s one easy payment of $10.
I can understand there hate towards Garry for asking money for it but you must not forget HE made it and deserves all the rights to ask money for it (well if Valve agrees ofc.)
Can GMOD 9 be played online?
Gmod 9 works online, but some features may have been broken with valve updates. Those won’t be fixed though.
Oh boo hoo! Someone is charging money for a program they developed and that should never happen. No one in the history of time should EVER be compensated, rewarded, or fornicated because of some hard work they put into something.
