What did you guys do? I went up in the mountains and admired the beauty, then I played some computer, and now I’m having a barbecue.
Happy 4th!

Happy 4th!
I am currently having a BBQ and have been swimming all day and been sippin on seven and seven. Fireworks are going to be good tonight.
Back to you, Crunchy and all residents from the States. Happy Independence Day!
I drank a cup of tea and tutted for a few seconds.
Ummm… I don’t think this thread will end well.
Anyway, since my parents are out of town and thus have no ride to any Fireworks displays (I’m 14. The birthdate on my account is fake. Don’t ask why,) I spent the day mostly with NeoTokyo and Zelda: Twilight Princess. so it’s not that bad.
AMERICA HUR HUR HURRRRR
What’s the 4th of july?
Yeah basically, but think bigger!
THE WORLD WILL TREMBLE!
If other people want to mock because I’m passionate about my country that’s fine with me. I’m not fishing for complements, which is why I simply asked what everyone is doing.
@ Lamsey, lol nice.
Waiting for my mom to get out of the Hospital! …
wat
Beat Half-Life. Again. I used the Gauss cannon as a roman candle thing. :retard:
I find a little odd to say your “passionate” for what’s really just lines on a map. But I guess loving the “lines on a map” you live on is fine, so long as it doesn’t blind you when the boat sinks (ie Nazi Germany. Loads of patriotism. Look what happened.)
I’m implying nothing, of course.
It’s not JUST lines on a map - it’s also culture. Beyond culture I feel safe where I live. I feel safe from poverty (it does exist, but not nearly as much as some places), from disease, and from violence. You might accuse me of favoring the culture of the English speaking countries, and this might be a valid argument. I am half British and half American. I do like other cultures though. For example I like the Japanese culture. I studied \their language for several years in high school and learned things that only the Japanese DO. To say that countries are only lines on a map is ridiculous. Obviously you’ve never traveled outside of your country. Every country does things differently and has a different ideology and culture. This is why we have countries in the first place. If all people were the same, then we wouldn’t give a shit about politics, war, or economics.
I’m not saying that the USA is better than any country, although to be candid I do believe living here is better than living in SOME other countries. If I didn’t believe that, then I would do everything in my power to get out and to go someplace else.
You’re right about Nazi Germany. There’s a difference between loving your country and doing stupid shit though. I love my country, but I’m willing to admit when it’s made mistakes - and it has made a lot of mistakes. Reading a history book both fills me with pride and with shock at some of the things my countrymen have done. However, this is another reason for being seriously interested in your country. I couldn’t oppose Hitler if I was disinterested in what he was doing or didn’t know anything about him or my country.
Alright. You make a good point. I never thought of it like that.
I woke up, trolled, played Neotokyo, watched Ghostbusters, had a long ass BBQ, watched fireworks, got in a traffic cone battle, and sat down here.
Slept. Because an independence day filled with rain is pointless.
Seriously, this rain is getting old. Ever since March it’s all that’s in the forecast anymore.
Since you seem to love trolling so much, have you ever heard of Chris-Chan? Look him up on YouTube. He looks like alot of fun to troll!
I mowed the lawn, tried to convince some Englishmen to reconcour us, and ignored reality for a while.
