Half Life 3

Wut?

It is pretty much factual that some where in Valve, at least a few people were developing some things. They aren’t stupid enough to completely let go of Half-life for 4 years.

Lets take a moment to examine Valve’s last major game; Team Fortress 2.

Now, in the last few months TF2 has become free to play.
FREE TO PLAY.
3 2 PLAY.
3.
Half Life 3!

Are you catching my drift?
Now lets look at the letters in the word Team Fortress 2.
Not a single H or L appear in this title. Coincidence? I don’t think so.

Are Valve trying to tell us that Half Life 3 is on the way by omitting the letters H and L but including the hidden number THREE by making TF2 FREE to play?
I’m pretty sure that most of you will agree that this is pretty conclusive evidence. At least, it’s far more realistic than believing in a shitty website with a terrible name being registered to some retard who has poor HTML skills.

OH MY GOD!
Lets look at the L4D games.

LEFT 4 DEAD
LEFT 4 DEAD 2.
Lets add up all the numbers in these titles; 4 + 4 + 2 = 10
How many years has it been since the first HL game? 13 years!
13 - 10 = 3
HALF LIFE 3

Left 4 Dead 2 is also a secret message from Valve that HL3 is coming! Fuck YEAH!
This is pretty much all the proof anyone would need. It’s all there in the math.

It’s kinda sad how much work you put into something that isn’t even remotely smart or funny.

13 years after the original HL? In 2011 yes
L4D was released in 2008 & L4D2 was released in 2009…
By 2008/2009 it should be 10/11 years after HL1…
haha

You are indeed correct, but also miss the point completely.
My little post was simply demonstrating that people in this thread are joining dots which simply are not there. If I were to make a website called https://www.halflifethreeapeturefunland.com half the people here would be pissing their pants and believing it was real. They’d then go as far as to find the most obscure reasons WHY it was real even though it is quite clearly a fake.

And Dias, if you think that changing the word ‘Free’ into ‘3’ and then doing some simple algebra is ‘work’ then I am truely sorry for you. God knows what you would do if you had to experience something that was actually taxing of the brain.

I just meant typing all that garbage, but whatever.

And here we are…
All the retarded shit with numbers and secret codes hidden in dates and titles which I mocked has actually been done by people for real.

What some people concluded from a speech by Wheatley at the Spike’s VGAs.

Gabe Newell responded to this by saying, “STOP BEING FAGGOTS, THERE IS NO HALF LIFE 3”

nuf said, close thread

This.

Half Life 3 is possibly the most anticipated game ever, They would be stupid to not work on it.

nuff said, ban poster.

Take a look at the Black aperture site now…anyone know Morse Code?

Black Aperture is fake. Fake. FAKE. It’s a pure troll site and you’re all paying attention to it like fools.

For crying out loud, dude, I KNOW. It’s still an interesting diversion.

For the weak minded.

But was it ever in development? Really and truly in bonafide measurable progressing development?

I think Ep 3 was at some level of “work” but how far did they get? Valve apparently bit off more than they could chew with the Steam delivery platform. It turned out to be so incredibly successful that the requirements to keep it running sucked the HL dev team dry.

To what extent has Ep3/HL3 managed to survive and in what state does it exist? With the loss of personnel to the Steam client and people leaving Valve outright… the development of HL was surely hurt… did coding blow up in their face, leaving a tangled train wreak of a mess? Was there another security breach on their servers?

In four plus years, not a single peep. No confirmation OR denial. Numerous OTHER new titles, sequels to those titles and new projects in the interim. Some debunked trolling, one Valve employee even getting in on the act.

Whatever. :expressionless: I was going to say more but I deleted it. The above may seem to contradict a previous post of mine, so maybe I should clarify a little:

“I would also rather Valve remain silent than blow past announced dates and have to repeatedly push them back.” Another reason I would rather they remain silent is if they balk and the project is canceled outright there will be no (legitimate) shattered dreams, hopes and previously generated excitement of the community.

Prove me wrong Valve, but HL-Ep3/HL3 is the new vaporware.

“Prove me wrong Valve, but HL-Ep3/HL3 is the new vaporware.”

Donno man…vaporware would suggest that valve actually said that ep3/hl3 WILL happen, and as far as I know, valve hasn’t announced any ep3 or hl3. Ofcourse they would be stupid NOT to release something that millions of fans are waiting for and, make them money.

To be fair, Ep3 was announced in like 2006 before Ep1 was out, and HL3 was announced way back in 2004 before HL2 was released.

Who else is getting really frustrated by articles online saying “Valve says no HL3 outright” and then all they do is quote them stating they have no affiliation to any ARG or leakage? Pathetic journalists just copying one another and exaggerating the truth.

I was going to say the same thing! I was ready to show how ignorant those journalists were but most of the websites either didn’t have comments or I didn’t care enough to sign up for them.

Just because Valve denies the clues doesn’t mean there is no Half-Life 3! LOL. Saying there is no Half-Life 3 is like saying Valve doesn’t exist! HL3 will come out eventually, whether the current clues are real or not. Putting “No Half-Life 3” in the title of these articles pisses me off. And then these websites copy each other!

And some of the clues ARE legitimate. What about the Lambda and the three shiny lights in one of the Steam Christmas images? And how do you explain the characters shown above Wheatly? Those symbols translated just happen to have a lambda as the first character? Valve may not exactly be hinting at a soon HL3 announcement, but is reminding its followers that the company has no forgotten about the series and that it still has its place.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
