Anyone got Black Mesa v1.0 (the free version) working with new current Half-Life 2 VPK pipeline files?

As you can see, Black Mesa was working with Half-Life 2 back in 2012.
But I just tried now with my current Half-Life 2 and all I get is a black screen.
Does anyone know whether older mods are not compatible with new Half-Life 2 VPK?
The mod still works make sure you have the source SDK base 2007 downloaded installed and run aswell
No idea whether it still works, however the 2012 mod doesn’t and never required Half-Life 2 to run. All it needs is Source SDK Base 2007 from the Tools to be installed.
