because the majority of the patches fix models and scripting and add maps not fix existing maps and im hoping somebody knows of a patch that does just that

Well, it’s been 9 years. I think if you can’t find what you’re looking for, it may not be there. There was a beta renovation project to bring it up to modern standards, but I think they got absorbed into Missing Information.
