Guns

Alright, I know you’re full of fail and a horrible troll, but at least try now to explain the reason of being such faggot to quote my post and point me to where I messed with M4’s structure.

Decent one, but another stock would be preferable.

Yep, but I couldn’t find one that suited my purposes perfectly, so this is a rather weak compromise. I originally intended the shotgun mag to be a barrel drum, too. Well, it’s only a first attempt.

sniper rifle. with a huge-ass mag. :fffuuu:

tactical shotgun: WHAT IS THIS I DONT EVEN :fffuuu:

Why doea it have lazors on the stock?

Probably the same reason your sniper rifle has a carrying handle on the bottom of the barrel.

Why not?

Lazors are cool

Second try. This one looks a bit better.

UPDATE: Tweaked it a bit.

It looks good, but the shotgun barrel disappears when it gets to the hand guard, and how would the shells be ejected? Also, there’s an existing nade launcher for the xm8 that you can use instead of the mp5sd’s integral suppressor.

it’s a tactical shotgun. lrn2read. :frowning: In other words, there was a empty rail there, and by definition tactical weapons need as many unnecessary accessories as possible. Hence the suppressor, two foregrips, 2 laser sights, and the ability to look through your reflex sight through two scopes. Oh, and the cheekrest and upgraded stock.

This is the most retarded gun ever.

I have checked - the shotgun barrel does not disappear. It’s in line with the hand guard. Shell ejection is a problem, I admit. I could not find any part looking similar to a shell ejector (is that what it’s called? vocabulary fails me).

The existing grenade launcher for the XM-8 looks shitty to me, that’s why I created a new one which doesn’t give the gun such a bulky look. Just pretend it’s a German clone of the M203.

EDIT: I tweaked it a bit. Check the upper post to see what changed. Don’t know how the shell ejection could actually work. I just placed an opening where there was space for one. I leave the details to actual weapon manufacturers

And yes, I know there would have to be a way to determine which barrel to fire. Just pretend that the safety-single shot-burst switch had another option for the shotgun to be fired instead of the rifle. Because I won’t edit the picture again, and certainly not on such a tiny level of detail.

If there is any more criticism: “Itz a fukkin’ fancy gun!” Kay?

Ok, that looks better. One more thought- wouldn’t it be kinda difficult to hold? I mean, drums aren’t especially conducive to holding under your arm…

Funny coming from you.

Oh yeah, because it looks nothing like an M4, except for the fact that it has a barrel that shoots bullets.

@Brother: Well, I never tested it - obviously - but in that case the barrel drum could be replaced with a smaller magazine at the expense of capacity. The main idea is having both a shotgun and an assault rifle with decent effective range in one weapon.

Does the Pulse Rifle really need to look modern? It’s from the future, for crying out loud. Way cooler than some lame plastic wad of gun like the xm8 with some crap glued to it.

As far as modern-day super-gay hyper-neo remakes of shit goes, it would look like this:

Oh, my intention was not to make something that looked cooler than the Pulse Rifle. I think nothing can look cooler than a Pulse Rifle. My intention was to convert the idea behind the multifunctional assault weapon of the galactic marines to a modern day weapon, just to see whether it would work or at least look good. I know the XM-8 was a failure, sadly, but I like the design. HK do not use simple plastic for their guns, they are made of some kind of polymer that is supposed to withstand a high amount of damage and be lightweight at the same time. The XM-8 was, as the designation sign hints at, an experimental weapon. It didn’t pass the tests, so it was scrapped. Still, the design looks awesome. At least to me. Looks a lot like a G36-as-it-should-have-been.

Well, it did pass the tests. In fact, it destroyed the m4, but the army didn’t want to replace the m4/M16. Which is understandable, because the M4/M16s have been upgraded recently, and they aren’t all that bad.

Re-familiarizing millions of personnel with a new field weapon as well as changing current marksmanship training methods plays a bigger role than “The Army just didn’t want to replace the M4/M16”.

Not to mention the cost of the huge hunk of plastic.

Did it? Then I was misinformed. I think there were rumors about the army possibly replacing the barrels of their M-16s and M-4s with those of the new HK 416, instead of fielding a whole new weapon. Does anyone know details? Just curious about it.

I didn’t mean that the army was being bitchy and refused to replace the M4/m16 for no reason. I meant that they decided not to because of multiple reasons, such as the ones you stated. :meh:

yeah, the 416 did well, but the XM8 had the fewest stoppages. https://www.armytimes.com/news/2007/12/army_carbine_dusttest_071217/

Lol. Well that’s a solid argument, seeing how it has a receiver from M4, M4 rail system attachments, M4 barrel and M4 sights. I suggest you to open your fucking eyes and get your head out of your ass.
I just love how you act like a gun specialist in this thread trying to make up for your shallow mind.
