I’m from Germany but I am in the US atm
Then your location as displayed underneath your username isn’t entirely correct, is it?
How come he can buy weapons when he’s not a US resident? (or is he?)
As far as I understand the law; if you have a valid hunting license or permit and have been living in the US for the preceding 90 days, it’s perfectly legal to purchase firearms and ammunition. This may be completely moot for members of the armed forces, I am not sure.
This is my Ruger…inexpensive, fun to shoot, and economical, since .22LR is dirt cheap.
Thats a pretty pimp looking .22. I’m thinking about a Savage .30, cuz I joined a gun club but don’t own a damn piece yet.
So?..
not sure if this is completely on topic but I saw some artillery posted earlier so…

and

If I had guns, I’d have them plated with pink and neon green.
That’s just how I roll.
sounds like something that would go well with those HL2 arms that you never released . . .
I’m locked out of my FPSB account because of verizon getting bought by fairpoint. Here’s the green and pink ones someone wanted.
I think I’ll only release the tron ones but I have to fix some self-illumination on them.
Those Tron ones were the ones that really sounded interesting.
TRON!!!
Cyberspace’s moast daynjerous frizbee
Some LR300s I made in Cinema 4D:

Colt… fucking… Anaconda.
It demands respect.
Sorry Coll, but you’re wrong. It’s longer than the typical bayonets fitted to muskets of the time (24 inches in fact), because the Baker riflehad a much shorter barrel (the rifling allowed greater accuracy with a much reduced length, although still being muzzle-loading it consequently took longer to load as it took great effort to push the bullets down the tight, grooved barrel), and thus, the so-called ‘sword bayonet’ was made for it. It was long to give the same total length of gun + bayonet, and also had a handle to allow it’s use as a close quarters stabbing weapon when not attached.
You can’t see it in that pic, but here are close ups of the groove with which you attach it to the rifle:

And Sean Bean has played Sharpe in 16 Sharpe TV movies, in none of which he died and in all of which (I assume since I’ve not seen them but only read the brilliant series of 24 books they’re adapted from) he’s a complete bad-ass.
well I like colt. Python better and Colt. Anaconda is gonna have to live with it.
I gave up after about 14 books.
A frightening number of people on this forum own a frightening number of firearms.
if owning firearms is frightening, I want you cowering in abject TERROR
Reading them all in one go can get a bit samey. But some of the later ones were really excellent, so it’s a shame not to make it through them all. Especially since they were mostly all building towards Waterloo, that’s the big one.
Yeah, I enjoyed the hell out of the prequels, and the first couple of the originals, but then it was all like “Hey Sharpe, lets go kill some other identical French general in another identical part of Portugal/Spain.” I really should finish them though, because I enjoyed the writing and all, except for the fact that I read the prequels first, and now all the people that were supposed to be dead are still alive.
@ Topic:
In the good old days, before anti-tank weapons had been adequetly developed, the various dudes in trenches in WWI thought it would be a great idea to design these frickin heavy bolt action rifles to take on tanks. The round would basically go straight through the tank and kill the driver, but on the other side of the coin, the bolt slid back with such force that it often knocked off the shoulder of the man firing it.
