@mattemuse: That’s the point. They have NEVER made any good use of this right at all - on no occasion whatsoever. All they have done so far is shoot innocent fellow citizens in their rage about an unfair system and a sick society, which is to a certain degree the product of bad politics. Kinda creepy that the last president who was (supposedly from three different angles) shot by a (supposedly single) citizen was JFK, who could actually have made a difference if he had lived to try his best.

I upgraded this pistol so much it was better than my sniper rifle.
In the show that pictures from (it’s more of a TV drama than a film as there are shitloads of episodes), he’s a commoner who rises through the ranks and becomes the commanding offcier of an elite group of soldiers (the 95th Rifles who are a sharpshooter). He lasts through hours of episodes, gets shot several times and doesn’t die in the end (as far as I remember) all the while kicking general french (or whoever) ass.
I’m sorry Bean, but I don’t think that’s a bayonet, can you imagine trying to hold that rifle steady while that blade is wobbling about at the end?
