Well if we are including the 70s, I would have to go with Alien to your Aliens. It is amazing to me how that movie still holds up as one of the all time greatest science fiction and horror movies ever. I know everything that is going to happen and about when it is going to happen, and yet I still find myself holding my breath wishing that it wouldn’t happen and they could all get away from that horrible creature safe and sound. hell, I saw the second movie first and was still terrified by my first viewing. But it never works out, does it? They all die (pretty much). and I love watching it each and every time.
I actually watched the first Nightmare on Elm Street pretty recently for the first time. It was hilarious, I don’t see how anyone can call it a horror movie with a strait face.

i think that something wrong was with humanity in 40-50s, so the best songs were sang in 70s(when musicians were about 20+, as it usually happens[COLOR=‘Magenta’]) and the all the good movies were filmed in 80s(when producers were at the age of 30, as they usually are[COLOR=‘Magenta’])
