Got a Quick Suggestion? - Small suggestions that don't need their own thread

the one on the left is what’s in the game, right?

yes, but it’s also a world model where as the other one isn’t.

No, the one on the left is the old MP5, the one on the right is probably the new world model.

Er, what?

Edit: Damn, I was beaten to it.

In HL1, the SMG didn’t have any recoil. In HLS, it has terrible recoil.

I prefer the no-recoil version.

No, the one with the holosight has been replaced. Don’t you remember that thread with a cockroach yelling and screaming that it had been taken out?

I don’t think you understood him.

I realized that after i posted, but i guess i forgot to change it. no matter.

Seeing as bullsquids attack headcrabs, I think that they should also attack zombies, or at least the headcrab on the head of zombies.

Have we ever seen an instance where they were in the same vicinity and they didnt attack? I cant remember.

We have not.

Thing is, in Half-Life, if 2 enemies weren’t meant to meet each other, then they weren’t always scripted correctly. I remember spawning an Alien Grunt by a Sentry Gun, neither did anything. Oddly enough, the Sentry did open fire on the bees when the Grunt attacked a Human Grunt I spawned.

This is true, I don’t think there is a time when you see both, but it would be a feature worth adding if the developers ever decide to put the two of them together.

Headcrab would’ve been killed before it could meet a host by Bullsquids, amirite?

Anyways, I would imagine devs are creating relationships for all of the NPCs and instances.

Since this probably wouldn’t need new animations, it might be possible. All it would require is a bit of coding.

Not even that, really. Hell it can be done in Hammer.

It’s, like, an integer in a table. I do believe bullsquids should be hostile toward zombies. They’re hostile to both humans and headcrabs, so, like…

a nice suggestion i like to make to the devs … if it’s not to late … is when u headshot a marine/barney with a powerfull weapon like the 3.57 or shotgun the marine/barneys helmet will jump off …

Don’t quote me, i think they’re already doing that.
