Me too. Good thing Gordon is holding the AR2 so deep so we don’t see the damn big ammobox and the only one hand.
Well with the huge ammo box hanging there I guess Valve felt there was no real need to model a second hand in the front.
Now I have to cringe every time I fire that thing, wondering how the hell Gordon manages to stop his arm from crunching into dust.

i knew that for some time, but when i play i try not to think about it. i imagine him holding it with two hands anyway. or you can think of it being made by a very light weighted but solid material. it’s combine technology after all.
I already knew that, too, but I forgot about it soon after. I’m sure I won’t think about it the next time I play Half-Life 2.
The viewmodel for the AR2 is distorted as hell. It’s really short and have a massive ammo container.
Have you seen the weird looking things you put into the AR2, not to mention the combine balls?
The combine balls kinda look like tealights.
