I was told in an email from Valve that Magnusson stepped out and tasked the guys in the room with guarding his food. Then after you left but before the Resonance Cascade, he got back and they told him what you did.
Also, in Black Mesa, it’s a Security Guard and a Female Scientist rather than 2 male sci’s.
And the second time, when there are two scientist that open doors to test chamber for Gordon? One of them has got identical voice and attitude, and also he is in dev commentary in EP2 near the Magnusson. And one of the voices in the test chamber also sounds and behaves like him.
The commentary says Magnusson was inspired by him. It didn’t say he was him.
