Probably has been suggested before, but I felt that in the original uranium ammo was far too scarce, leading to the use of the Tau Cannon and to a lesser extent, Gluon Gun to be less than enjoyable.

I like the idea of making the cells more common… but also give it a decay rate of an hour’s half-life, to balance it out :stuck_out_tongue:

The half-life of the Uranium ammo would be… 1/2 your last recorded playtime.

On your first playthrough, the half-life defaults to about 7. :stuck_out_tongue:

umm, how about the portal gun, i see u added m4 which i don’t remember in the original hl so why not add the portal gun ?
i know this is not portal but it would be cool to have some brain challenges
and btw don’t flame me on this, i just like portal :slight_smile:

There are five reasons why that’s absolutely retarded:

  1. The M4 is in HL, if you have the HD pack installed.
  2. The M4 is not in BM. It has been stated that it will not be included.
  3. There is no possible explanation for having a portal gun in BM.
  4. Adding a portal gun would create vastly different gameplay mechanics which do not belong in BM.
  5. Adding a portal gun would be a lot of unnecessary work.

ok, so no m4 in BM :[ i was confused because of the pics. in media section
and about the portal gun, i guess it would be way too much fun to teleport zombies in the nuclear waste and watch them die, oh well, i can live with that :slight_smile:

Oh wait, there’s a sixth reason:

  1. Adding a portal gun would make Portal a requirement for BM, while the dev team has gone to great lengths to make sure all you need is the Source SDK.

When Black Mesa is released, if you have Garry’s Mod, download the Portal gun and play a map from BM, there. That’s the only way you’ll have the Portal gun in BM.
