He wasn’t really talking about the game, he said in what appeared to be broken English something about how if you were an expert soldier you’d be able to tell what you’d hit without aiming down sights. Freeman was a scientists so the expert soldier thing is kind of out of the bag so I assume he mean in real life.
get ready for flames…
FREE2GAME, HALF-LIFE IS A VIDEO GAME, END OF STORY! Gordon freeman can shoot however the mods make him fucking shoot. enough of your retarded chatter about accuracy and realism. the motto of this fucking mod is “RUN. THINK. LIVE. SHOOT. SOURCE” not “INFILTRATE. AIM. RUN. SHOOT. SOURCE” goddamn. If you want your battlefield realistic aiming, go play call of juarez 'cause BM is NOT, read it, NOT YOUR GAME. effing noob.
I do not like you, Sam I am, I do not like you green eggs, big fan.
OT: @Ram, the screenshot looked great except for the beams… Although now you’re intriguing me as to how much it’s changed overall…
I might have a Q… And i know I might get the “not that question again” reaction, but I’m gonna ask it anyway.
So, in the Lambda Complex, when entering the portal, you get a lot of flashes etc before you’re actually on Xen. In BM, is there gonna be or is there place to actually have a quick image of the complex again and seeing Shephard standing there? I know a lot of people will be like “forget about him!”, but I kind of feel like it makes it more complete, since you don’t have that in the original HL
It’s not that kind of Q. And it doesn’t affect the story, AND it actually fills a hole left in HL1, so a simple “no” with no explanation with it isn’t really constructive here
No, it does not fill a hole, since Opposing Force and Blue Shift are not considered canon and therefore Shepard never was there. Also, read the FAQ. One of the first questions answered there is that Shepard will not appear in any shape or form.
It’s a question about the mod, so it does belong there.
Shepard will make no appearance in BM. Read the FAQ.
[COLOR=‘Red’]^What they said. Shepard does not exist in this dojo, as the FAQ makes perfectly clear.
You should be able to noclip out of the tram in the introduction chapter of the game and be able to drive the forklifts.
That would be senseless.
I know. :retard:
I seem to remember being able to get inside a Combine APC in the final release version of HL2. Just saying. :freeman:
you had to turn god/buddha mode on to do that. And the only reason was that you were actually intended to drive them at some point, unlike the forklifts.
when if at all do you drive the combine APCs in half-life 2?
Only with God/Buddha. And I think it’s impossible to actually drive/exit them.
This. All the remains of the drivable APC is just enough lines of code to let you enter it. Once ‘entered’, the camera is stuck under the apc facing left, and you are given the same instructions that you get for the buggy (turbo, breaks, etc). You are also not able to get back out, you have to reload from a previous save. Imo they should have kept the APC section, but that’s another topic.
Actually, you can get out just by pressing use again. Although I can’t say the same for the console versions.
I’m on PC, and I can’t exit once I enter.
Damn you brain, you’ve failed me again.
wow, now that’s just asking to be made into a meme
“I’m a PC, and I can’t enter once I exit”
