Got a Quick Suggestion? - Small suggestions that don't need their own thread

Hmm…

Maybe…

Freeman! You sonofabitch! Let me out of here!! “ZAP”

Or if you leave the area…

Crap! Someone let me out! Oh Shi- “ZAP”

I din’t recall that area. What’re you talking about?

1 minute in, he doesn’t use it, but he passes through it:

It’s not worth it :hmph:

It is possible, though.

Still not worth it.

It’s implemented already.

I might end up enabling it. I thought the gibs in the “fun with gibs” looked kinda crappy.

Gibbing is rare where even explosives have a chance of not gibbing entities.

Then what’s the god damn point!? Half-Life was like a gorefest!! Dx<

Half-life was also amazingly cheesy. The human body is very resilient, and even if it is torn apart by an explosion (which is fairly rare) then the clothing will hold it together. Gibbing is not very realistic.

You should re-add the glitch where you could kill that one Bradley with its own rockets.

Neither are the assassins. But they’re still going ahead and doing it.

A lot of cheesiness has been removed anyway. Green goo vats anyone?

The gibbing is merely an aesthetic option and has no impact on the gameplay. The assassins were so unique in HL1 because they leapt to impossible heights, and the devs have to keep that gameplay intact. Besides, they made an attempt to make even that more realistic, and gave them leg-springs.

EDIT: aw shit… my first try at epic ninja is a fail. sorry, disregard.

Wh…what other colour WOULD goo be?

Anyway, I think that bit after the Blast Pit is still green, as it should remain.
Some cheeses get better with age.

As long as it isn’t white :fffuuu:

I’ll find a way to merge goremod into BMS. Heed my words… :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ve seen explosions turn people into nothing more than pink mist. Gibbing isn’t as unrealistic as you might think.

Especially in a game that features aliens and zombies :expressionless:
