Got a Quick Suggestion? - Small suggestions that don't need their own thread

Why? If you don’t like the default hl2 textures, why not change them yourself?

Those 3 posts were all posted in around 30 seconds.

I have a small question. Will there be some kind of SDK for BMS?

As far as I know, you’ll be able to make new maps, textures and models for it, but I don’t think you’ll be able to mod it code-wise.

That would be enough. I’m not in to coding. I just want to make new maps for it. Thanks.

Wrong thread, boyo.

I would have said something earlier but I didn’t have access to the internet for the past two weeks due to the fact that I was playing army. I think the delay is because of revovlers having a heavier and longer trigger pull. Pulling back the trigger would take longer due to the longer distance that the finger has to pull to activate the firing mechanism and because the finger has to exert more force to do so.

I know that at least they will release the FGD for Hammer mapmaking.

thats kinda obvious, neh?

Who would have thought a source mod would be…well…moddable?

Modding a mod. Heh.

I wouldn’t see why not.

thats the jo- Why didn’t you notice the sarcasm in my sentence? :hmph:

Cause we are not bug in your stomach.

:what:

The problem is that mods are often not moddable.

For example, a mask, that modifies your face. It is often difficult to wear glasses over a mask.

yo dawg

Can you guys put a “Continue game” option on the main menu? That’s been a standard on single-player games for years now and only Valve seems to not care about putting it in their games. I mean it’s something so inconsequential, but allows us to save a few seconds and a few clicks. Just start the game, click continue game and bam, you continue from where you left off.

I suppose this is rather easy to do. Just link it to the most recent save.

I approve this.

Hit F6 before you quit, hit F9 when you load.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
