Gonarch's 'testicle' suggestion.

I think they will keep it the same. No matter how many people say they want anything different the devs will shoot down the idea.

It’s a vagina sack, guys. > :frowning:

Android11x is right, guys. Gonarch sends the baby headcrabs after you during the fight, therefore, it has to be the mother of all the headcrabs that are born on Xen. If Gonarch was a male, it would not be able to keep on spitting out baby headcrabs out of her vagina sack to attack you. A male Gonarch would probably send Vorts and Houndeyes against us anyway so I’ll stick with a perfectly good female Gonarch with a vagina sack that spits out baby headcrabs that are easy to kill with a crowbar.

Someone once threw out the idea of making the baby headcrabs possible to step on like the roaches.

Five reasons why your statement is wrong:

  1. Since when do vaginas have a sack?

The gonarch is an extra-dimensional creature (which may not even have any gender at all), and therefore gender-based roles that aren’t even universal on earth need not apply, from which we can conclude:
2. The sending of the baby headcrabs is no indication of the gonarch’s gender.
3. You do not know how the gonarch’s reproductive system works, so you cannot conclude that “if Gonarch was a male, it would not be able to keep on spitting out baby headcrabs out of her vagina sack to attack you.”

  1. Gonarch is a contraction of gonad, which basically means testicle, and monarch.
  2. It looks like a god damn testicle.

Edit: actually, a gonad is any organ or gland that produces mature reproductive cells, so that’s still no indication of gender.
However, see 5.

It’s a vagina sack.

Gonarch has also been called Big Momma…is that a clue?
I highly doubt it would vorts and houndeyes…

Are you saying that, one day, the Nihilanth was both male and female at the same time?

Ignore Max von Bek. He (or she?) sometimes makes non-sensical posts.

Which means: I am right because he gives me facts to make conclusions.

…NO IT DOESN’T![/SIZE]

So, tell me:
how can it be, a giant testicle that gives birth to smaller versions of headcrabs?
I am pretty sure that this testicle has a small opening only to release headcrabs. I’ve seen it.

Ok, just take some time and think about what you’re saying here.
A vagina sack. The sack… of a vagina. Do you see the nonsense?

If you don’t you must not have paid attention during biology class.

I’m probably just getting trolled :frowning:

Alien anatomy isn’t necessarily identical to human anatomy.

I just alikened it to a testicle in terms of appearance; who says it’s even called a testicle on Xen?

HELL. Who actually cares?

No-one, that’s who. This whole silly discussion on whether it’s the sack of testes or the drop through of a vagina is totally irrelevant to the original post made.

Please, make constructive critiscm in return to my suggestion, or just don’t post. It’s a waste of FTP storage.

constructive citicism. okay:Let’s say your idea is good…If it wasn’t intended as a way to disturb people. The whole idea was involving a giant spider with a testicle glued to his/her belly.

Ok, so…
I remember that the first time I saw Gonarch coming straight to me, I said: “what a hell is that dancing thing?”. I died many times because the thing (and I am not saying that this is a testicle - can appear like one) dangling around was too distractive.
And, if I my memory serves me well, Gordon wasn’t able to kill Gonarch: the creature fell in some sort of hole, opening a path to a portal at the bottom.

It fell down and exploded creating a hole after Gordon killed it.

It always confused me as to why it detonated.

Maybe the engine couldn’t handle huge ragdolls like Gonarch, gargs or choppers ?

… there were no ragdolls.

It probably happened because a gigantic gargantua corpse would kinda get in the way. That or you’d have to able to walk through it, which obviously isn’t beneficial to suspension of disbelief.
