That just depends completely on the player. You can also SHOOT SHOOT HIDE BEHIND ROCK SHOOT SHOOT in Half-Life, just as you can actually use complex strategies in CoD if you’re actually playing with some intelligent people. Sadly, the average person that plays Half-Life is just a lot smarter than the average CoD player, and less of a total douchebag.

By hardcore gamers he means the distinction that is made between casual gamers and hardcore gamers. Casual gamers being the people who play quick puzzle games, browser games and such, with hardcore gamers being the type who play more involved single or multiplayer games like HL, CoD, RPG’s, etc.

Batman Arkam asylum can be really glitchy if you accidentally trip the Anti-Pirate hooks, which is easy to do, even with the steam copy. Dragged out of the map, jumps failing and the game staring over at the beginning of the final scarecrow scene.
I’d say any game that features a physics engine or free roaming.
