Are girls in general irrational like that? Cause that was not the first time I saw this kind of thing. Why not just be straight and tell what you want to tell? Why the need to play these emotional games? Or am I just seeing this completely in the wrong way?

Also no. Not all girls are like that. A lot of girls will play emotional games like that, but it’s usually girls who are fairly childish or just haven’t ever had anyone set them straight before. If all the guys just take it, they’re going to keep doing it. Stand up for yourselves for gods sake.

When I was a teenager, I played games once. It got me the opposite of what I wanted. I vowed to never play games again. So guys, don’t be afraid to call her bluff once in a while.

Well, that’s it. I talked to her, and she admitted she cheated on me, and that she’s sorry. Good thing is, we are alot more open to eachother now. I gave her another chance, because she’s very sorry. Things are better now.

I personally don’t hold to the “once a cheater always a cheater” but you DO need to be careful and look for signs and stick with the plan as to what you would do if it happens again. (Goes back to that self respect thing.) Good luck with that and good for you for wanting to keep the communication going.

Personally, if my girlfriend cheated on me, I wouldn’t give her a second chance. I’d dump her in the most emotionally painful way I could think of.

This isn’t just an ordinary girlfriend. We are together for 4 years. I was even thinking of a mariage proposal. Now I’m just gonna wait with that for a little while. But if things go well for the next 2 months, I think I’m gonna do it.

I don’t know. Did you say how long ago it was she cheated on you? That’s kind of a big deal, if it was recent I’d want to wait a longer time. A person who cheats on me is not a person I want to marry.
