Gibbing system

So has anybody figured out how to make explosives (or any other type of weapon) gib enemies instantly like the Tau and Gluon do? I’ve been playing around with the convars listed in the wiki but they don’t seem to affect much.

I’d like to be able to blow up an enemy instantly without having to use 2 satchel charges at least (changing the damage of the satchel charges doesn’t seem to affect the result either)

It would be cool if all weapons gibbed on the death blow (not the first shot, just the last one).

I wouldn’t want all weapons, but definitely the shotty.

Having a rare chance to gib an enemy on double shot would make the weapon a lot more satisfying, and keeping it rare would help keep the wow factor.

Well I would want it only for comedy purposes. Plinking away at an A-grunt with the pistol only to see it explode on the 20th shot would be hilarious.

I just hope the gibbing system will be updated a bit, the limbless torso should be gibbed to smaller pieces…

Am I the only person who doesn’t like gibbing?
I’m glad they have it as optional. I hope it stays that way…

I do hope they make the torso model less stiff, though… it looks so strange.

Well I think at Soldier of Fortune when U say this!

I think they should make more anatomical gibs to replace the big chunks of nothing you get currently.

Get Xalener in there for some deep, husky, satisfying gore audio

How about creating a gib model for headcrabs?

It was in the original after all but I think only on grenades and fan blades stuff like this not for your usual shooting and hitting with the crow bar.

I just wish the gibbing program will be modified a bit, the limbless chest should be gibbed to small items.
