Get Black Mesa on Steam! We can do it!

Hey up now, the rank column says that slender source is second place? What the fuck?

Did something already make it through greenlight? Was “home” a greenlight item?

Very nice, just like whatever color is the new black.

Yes, you’re right. But not with all games. I recon you now have to tick a box if it is a F2P game or mod in the application form or something like that. That’s why it only displays mods/F2P as “would you play” all others as “would you buy”… So Valve is reacting to alle the mods posted on greenlight.

EDIT: just look how this MF takes off!!!

Hold it! Back before the fee was set in place, I saw no box for mods, nor did I see mods share a box with free/ Free to play

It’s only an assumption.

BTW: BM ist second!!! Leading 30% to 29% of Project Zomboid. With an increase rate of still 8% in 24hrs compared to 1% in 24 hrs for the latter and Slender: S.

Black mesa is two points shy of Being the leader of the pack. I’ll bet there will be more people voting on this this weekend when they’re all not busy with stuff like school or work.

¡Wow! 2nd Place in two days… that´s delicious, im raising my hopes to a Steam Release

Is that bug worse than we thought?
It looks like votes are separated because that “second” counter started at 0% then it was 1% and now is 2% while the real counter stuck at 30% (and 3 hours passed).

People were talking (in comments section) about refreshing the page and the results were:
0% / 30%
1% / 30%
2% / 30%

2% / 31%

31%!

31%!

TIED THE LEADER! 31%!

Hit 31%! Should be tied with Slender for first now!

[annnnnnd I was ninja’d]

I noticed that as well… it’s really strange.

I hope, I wake up to 40% tomorrow
That last percent either came in 20minutes or the counter is fucked up…

My vote has been cast. I said “No”.

jk, it was indeed a “Yes”.

Not sure why anyone would vote “no” except to remove it from the list of games on their Steam.

There must be such a button, or valve adds the category F2P to mods themselves, as every mod I see on greenlight has that tag and the “play” phrase…

Nope.

Greenlight was born out of a need for a better submission and approval process. The previous system saw a group of 4-5 people going through literally thousands of submissions.

There have already been mods on Steam before, no one would care if BM was put on and given some extra help. Just look at this list

  • Action Half-Life

  • Awakening
  • The Battle Grounds

Changed my name to “Vote Black Mesa” on Steam

Holy fuck. That’s a shitload of mods on Steam.
And BM will be their king!

Is BM the only mod that recreates a Valve game? I have no doubts that BM will make it, but it isn’t like other mods.

As far as I know, until GD and OBM come out on Steam, and BM is the only full conversion of a valve game.
Let me rephrase: BM will let the others suck balls.

BM also is gonna rape slender.

Yep and only 13 of those mods are delivered through Steam.
The rest are just store pages with links to there websites.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
