Health bar, you get health by killing shit, exploding shit, messing with girls, pissing, drinking, that kind of thing. A lot of people confuse it for regeneratan’ health but they’re all faggos.

I contest this point on the grounds that the first game, while excellent in it’s creepy atmosphere and decent story, the game’s combat was repetitive. Four enemy types is repetitive. Changing your own weapons set to provide variety is not gameplay variety.
Oh, and the “moral choice” fell on a flat note, and the endings are far too extreme towards either alignment to really reward you for playing differently. You’re either Rapture’s Christ figure or you’re a heartless bastard bent on world domination.
Play System Shock 2; its actually almost identical to Bioshock in story (even the plot twist is virtually identical) and atmosphere (dystopian underwater world vs. dystopian space station), but with more varied gameplay, no crappy moral choices, better (or about the same) immersion, more RPG skill-levelling and, most importantly, wrenches. Lots and lots of wrenches.
And I’m not saying that just because Yahtzee did.
I really do want to try SS2, but I have no idea where to secure a copy.
The reason why duke is so manly is because he takes super steroids. This kind of steroid compound is one that not only makes you stronger, but also makes you produce MORE testosterone and accentuates masculinity, and actually heals your wounds. The only thing is, when your body gets injured, the steroid healing reaction process makes an excess amount of olnr, which in high doses will kill you.
There are only two ways to deal with excess olnr, one way is to render it useless with alcohol, and the others being to get rid of it. One way is to have sex, thus passing it into the female, where it is harmless to her. Another way is through a more complicated process where once the brain takes in visual information of the body directly causing something elses death, it then secretes the olnr through the mouth in a pure form called oneliner.

When you take into account it uses game assets from 1995, yes it is very well done.
