game not showing in steam library

the install directory said it saved in steam aps, mods but its not showing up in the library? where is the short cut?

Same here, i installed it elsewhere than steam and after i quit it i can’t even relaunch it :frowning:

Same here. Major problem. Copied saves and are reinstalling.

Should be under steamapps\common\sourcemods in a dir called \BMS. IF you can’t afford the space wherever your steamapps are stored, you can make a Junction\simlink in sourcemods to wherever you extracted the game to. A little tricky, but easy to do if you set up for it right.

Reinstalled the game to the default path and it worked great. Just copy the folder “SAVE” from the old /dir to the new!

yes i reinstalled the game and problem solved

Just a quick follow-up… if you have a successful install, you must completely exit Steam and restart before it will show in your library.

This is more than just clicking the X in the upper right corner. You must stop it from running in the background. You can either stop it from the system tray (lower right corner of windows) or just reboot your computer.

It should show up at the top, Black Mesa.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
