Game is not launching!

I downloaded BMS from the torrent mirror, I installed it, restarted steam, but then when I click play nothing happens :frowning:

PLEASE HELP!

I’m having same issue I have SDK Base 2007 Installed the game shows up in my steam library. Source SDK 2007 loads and runs the benchmark fine.

However running black mesa opens with a loading screen then crashes with window “hl2.exe has stopped working”
under that “A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.”

I’m going to try deleting the Torrent files and the game and re-downloading and re-installing using official mirror source files. Since I’ve already deleted and re-downloaded Source SDK 2007 Files and verified them.

I just realized my Torrent file is around 3.07GB size and the file offered from modDB is 3.8GB could be some missing information from the torrent version.
