Game crashes and gun disappears.

Hello fine folks of Black Mesa.

I’ve got a few problems with this otherwise fine game. And I promised my self to stay
calm. So here it goes. These problems / crashes all occur at the ‘Surface Tension’ level.

The first problem is : I can’t see my gun. It suddenly disappeared some-how. I only see
the crosshair. (see screenshot)

The second problem is : When I get to the point, to shoot the helicopter down with the
rocketlauncher the first time. The game crashes, and I get the “hl2.exe has stopped working”
message.

So, please help me. I added those .mdmp files with this message below.

My pc hardware is : Intel i7 hexa-core 3.20ghz. Sabretooth x58. 12gb installed mem. Asus geforce GTX580.
My software is : Windows 7 64bit Ultimate.

Oké. I have found the sollution. It turned out, that I was messing with the audio and video settings, in the middle of the game. That why it crashed etc.
So now, I leave those alone and now I can play normaly. The only problem I have now, is a “crash to desktop” and some kind of error message about a failed dumb file or something.

I’ll make a screenshot of that error…If I ever get one again.
