I don’t like G-man, I liked when it was just an average day at Black Mesa and shit got real and gordon had to fight to get outta there.
All this time travel and time pausing and werid flying machines that kill black scientists will never be as good as half-life 1 (don’t get me wrong, I love hl2 and the episodes)
yes i had that impression first time i finished hl2 first time too , it’s a very long shot from current techology to fantasy technolohy [ well current , the machineguns n’shizz ] prolly a project involving some one else to see the 7 hour war and how things changed will be good to see , but i really doubt when they finished hl1 they ware really thinking of making another one
Are valve actually going to explain who the G-man is or are they gonna like keep it a mystery for the player which would keep the G-mans mysterious charcter cause if they explain who he is then the whole mysterious element is gone
We’ll just wait 25 years for Half-Life: The Final Cut and find out that Gordon is indeed a Replicant.

well now that you say that maby G-Man could be either one of two things… we dont know two much about gordon only that hes mit grad and acientist who started the cascade and yaddayadda yadda (i might be forgetting some thigns i havent played the first game ina while) who only has one friend, barney and hes mute… maby the G-Man is gordon in the future…
Gordon Freeman, Gordon has alot of edventures going through we dont even know what happens later on so for all we know godon gets f$^@d up somewhere along the line, goes back in time and tryes to save himself without reveiling himself… kinda a long shot but its so obvious its not obvious if that makes sence and its just the kinda brain ninja valve would do

I’m not even sure valve knows who gman is? Maybe they justt put a mysterious character in the game? Not thinking gman videos will flood youtube and half of the articles on the internet will be about gman.

Valve will never ever do this.
As far as your literal belief that Gordon is mute, don’t try to create in-universe explanations for decisions made in the hopes of creating an immersive game experience.
Finally, your outline for Episode 3 is completely uninspired. It’s just Half-Life 2 in space with an enemy slightly worse than the Combine. I would really hope Valve has something more compelling cooking up for the next chapter in the series.

Why kill the g-man? He may be an interdimensional bastard but he does allow Gordon to meet Alex.
And one more VERY important little detail. The g-man will never let gordon die, bad for business and the little feature called save and load.
