G-man

I’m not here to start problems. I just thought there could be somthing simular to speculate on that all. :frowning:
This is a discussion forum right?

Oh and I fixed the spelling error.

Now you just need to do the same for your last post.

Also, that’s one of the oldest and most unpopular Gman theories on this forum.

I thought it was THE oldest on the whole internet!

Ah, figures. :frowning:

Maybe I should just go make more wallpapers for this site community then.

Have there been a discussion about Gman as a meta-demensional alien in human form?

yep

Also, Valve even stated that the Gman is not Gordon.

GayMan

Sorry, I’m saying is it possible that Gman is a member of Race X? Or he is he some veteran member of Black Ops that can use the vortessence in a dark manner?

Why would the Black-Ops in any way be able to use the vortessence?

Damn we got some stupid people on dis damn sucklage. Never gets old!!!

How the hell would anyone get the conclusion that G-man is a Black-ops member?
He dresses in normal (to human standards) work clothing
His manner of movement is nowhere close to the rapid, Jittery skittering around that the black ops do.
IMO, G-man is an avatar of sorts, sent by HIS race (the “employers”) to keep history in favor of the Human Race. He doesn’t seem to care all that much for Breen, and the Vortigaunts at the beginning of Ep1 seem to exhibit a fair amount of hostility towards him.
nonetheless, this is just baseless speculation

Good. I come across another issue that has been established…in the first few pages of this thread and around the world everywhere. Gman IS NOT Gordon Freeman. Two very good reasons why: G-man is not Gordon Freeman because the word Gman is short for Government Man, which is an FBI agent. Plus, if you look with the parts of your eyes that can actually SEE you will find that they look nothing alike, and some guy (I forget who but it’s credit all the same!) pointed out that Gman has a widow’s peak, a dominant gene, which can’t be acquired over time, and Gordon does not, meaning they are definetly not the same person.

TO THE PEOPLE WHO THINK GMAN LOOKS LIKE GORDON WHEN HE HAS A GOATEE AND GLASSES JESUS F’N CHRIST!

Gordon: O RLY BIATCH?

Holy shit Stan, I didn’t read your post… but are those pictures of MORE Freeman’s?!

Was he CLONED or something?! This would totally prove the G-MAN Gordon Freeman link and explain why the G-man is everywhere…

Really though the only person G-man could be is Shephard.

DISCLAIMER/ He isn’t \DISCLAIMER

He did tell Shepard that he reminded him of himself. He’s probably Shepard from the alternate future dimension!

You may be on to something there…

We probably won’t know until Ep4 (Yes, that’s right, FOUR), in the meantime, we can only imagine who, what, where, when, why, and how G-man is so badass. Plus, figure out why he’s made of frickin metal.

wait, episode: “Four”?

You’re making a mockery of my old “Gman is a robot” theory and it makes me happy in pants.

One of my theories is that G-Man is a rogue Advisor who disguises himself as a human and manipulates everything from behind the curtain using Gordon Freeman in order to remain undetected by the Combine. Being an Advisor in secret would somewhat explain his powers. However, I don’t think this theory is very good. It leaves a lot of questions unanswered, though I suppose the same thing can be said for the Half Life storyline.

I’m pretty firm on the fact that G-man is a completely independent being, something totally all to its own. Not from the Combine. Not from Earth. Not Barney. As much fun as I have wondering and reading about who or what G-man might be, it’s going to blow us away if Valve even decides to show us.

All we need to know is that he’s above everybody.

Yeah, that’s what I think too. That’s why I said my theory wasn’t very good.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
