front page hanging/errors

Black Mesa Archive Website Issues

Whenever I load up the front page, from a new instance of Firefox, I have have about 1 second of time before it hangs, I can’t interact in any way with the website; like clicking links, scrolling, etc.

It looks like this for about a minute, then changes to this:

I can then interact with the page again, the black text disappears when the next image rotation occurs, and the site looks normal again.

I have no further problems with the site even if i navigate away an come back; its only with a new instance of Firefox.

Oops forgot my version, that would be helpful.
3.6.13.

Also I just made a fresh install of the same version, so it wont be any add-ons, I get the same results.

In addition, it doesn’t do it in FF4b7.

I now have 3 installs of Firefox. :slight_smile:

that’s very bad, they don’t like coexisting on the same user account

They all run different profiles, along with -no-remote so they happily run side-by-side.

Left to right: 3.6.13, 4b9 (it updated), vanilla 3.6.13.

I’ve started getting this error in the last few days. Running Firefox 3.6.13

Doesn’t respond until refreshed. So not a major problem just slightly annoying

Thanks, but because I use my laptop mainly for work, I need something that’s as stable as possible :stuck_out_tongue:
