friendly introduction

'Afternoon everyone. Just wanted to post a short hello and all that jazz.

About me: started gaming when the Atari 2600 was called the Atari VCS. Been gaming ever since. Looking forward to Black Mesa mod. Used to post on planet halflife message board back in its prime and also some on planetfortress.

I’ll post additional stuff later as needed. Later.

Hello. Prepare to be chewed out and flamed by everyone. It tends to be the style when a new user posts a thread like this. But welcome nonetheless.

'salright. I just got my tough skin back from the cleaners and wearing it now.

Yeah, you might get about 5 people telling you that there’s an intro thread.

Ignore the first few posts here, they’re trying to scare you.

Welcome! Enjoy your stay and ask anything you want, we’re here to help.

People who introduce themselves in forums usually don’t last long.

Just post normally and eventually you’ll fit in. Maybe. Probably not tho.

Alreeght?

I just checked to see if I made an intro thread and I didn’t I am proud of me.

Greetings new meat. I’m the sheriff here, so when I tell you something, you pretend it’s actually important and we will get along just fine.

I’ve been posting since October 2006 and I still don’t fit in. :frowning:

That’s because you keep stealin’ our shit.

Speaking of which, that bomb I’ve been hiding beside the YLYL has gone missing.

anyone who likes star trek is alright with me :d

I always enjoy these threads, because they inevitably begin with warnings about a flaming that never comes.

True, the flamings only occur much later, after certain expectations of the forum member have been set in place…
