What MOS are you trying for? It really isn’t all its cracked up to be but I don’t regret joining, All the other US branches of military service are for fat nastys. I just want to get out so I can go to college. I plan on getting engaged shortly after getting back from this deployment then getting married so that should make my last 2 years a lot more pleasant. living the the barracks let alone squad bays gets really fucking old…
Probably MP or a Rifleman. I’m sure no military service isn’t all it’s cracked up to be, but the Chair Force isn’t for me, Army are the pussy version of Marines, and the Navy isn’t my deal, either, really.
I went Security forces, three years serving in security forces, I got to join a Fleet anti Terrorism Security Team. then 2 happy years as a rifleman. 5 year contract with no bonus
I would have much rather gone infantry and went for 0352, assault man and do a normal 4 years. Except they are pushing that MOS out of the marine corps and its almost impossible to pick up rank in it.
