So, the desert imaging in the background of the forum pages is new? Or have I just not noticed it.
Regardless, very cool, small change, big difference

It’s some version of the surface tension skybox. Does look kinda leet.
Oh I just wanted to make a thread about this a mimute ago…Good thing I refreshed the page because it wasn’t here a min ago. Agree with the others, looks decent
I didn’t even notice until I saw this thread. Sucks it’s aligned to the bottom. I would suggest using the homepage background possibly as another choice?
looks pretty freakin’ awesome
I noticed it a few times when the page was loading. I’d see some image flash by in a second. Thought it was some kind of subliminal messaging until I scrolled down and shat brix.
Ohh nice!
Maybe it could made into a fixed background, where it stays the same even when you scroll?
Unless it’s intentionally at the very bottom, of course.
I support that idea.
Yes please. It’s very eye candy-y and I want to see it all the time.
I thought it wasn’t loading correctly, because I saw it at the top for about two seconds, then I scrolled down to post, and there it is.
I agree that having it fixed would be a nice touch.
I don’t think it’ll look good. Well IMO every fixed background doesn’t look good, because there’s always a lag when you scroll the page that makes it very annoying.
Why not keep the original rocky background texture and have this new one at the same time? That would look quite good I reckon.
^this
I shat brix
Agreed
Yeah I was going to make a thread until I realised maybe I just havn’t been seeing them and they’ve been there forever.
From a web developer perspective, that’s a bit more difficult to accomplish than having one or the other. I still know how to do it though… maybe the team should ask me to be apprentice web dev?
Jk, srsly, Hubi’s got this site in the bag. I like it much!
I like it how it is now, a fixed background would add a strange effect of the page floating above the background, though, which can be cool sometimes.
I like that effect, looks awesome imho
