Good luck with recovering it.

On-topic: Everything that is successful is going to eventually get a clone of it. It’s bound to happen. This is just a prime example of it. I wish Developers would actually be creative for a change and make their own product instead of developing some shitty gameplay mechanics on a game that already is out there. cough CoD cough

A majority of the time its the mod market I look to more than the game itself, because usually the vanilla (base) client is either A) Buggy, B) too easy (even on the hardest difficulty I.E. The AI is shitty), or C) Just repetitive, and finally D) all of the above.

Consoles lack a mod market (its difficult to get it on there for some brain dead idiot who doesn’t know what they’re doing). However its where the cash cow is at the moment. With the rise of hand helds, I’d give it 4 years before it goes in favor of tablet PCs over consoles (guestimation).

I don’t consider consoles for FPS simply because its annoying to play with a shitty analog stick instead of a sensitive optical mouse to shoot individuals with. The mouse gives you a far greater degree of control, and yes I know by now that there are emulators you can get on your console to play with a mouse instead.

My way of looking at it is consoles are the main platform now, but eventually it will turn to another platform. Ftw, another reason I don’t consider consoles for MP gaming is because of the subscription fee, I don’t want to pay to play something I bought with my own cash for some shitty subscription. It’s a waste of cash imo.

Founded in 2004, Leakfree.org became one of the first online communities dedicated to Valve’s Source engine development. It is more famously known for the formation of Black Mesa: Source under the 'Leakfree Modification Team' handle in September 2004.
