Friday practices are boring

Mercedes engine DOMINATES.

Check this out:

As a proud owner of a mercedes, I am, well, proud of it.
Also notice where RBR is, especially Webber.

EDIT: I wonder why no one voted for Merc GP. Them and Renault are currently “the best of the rest”, with Merc a bit in front even.
EDIT2: Added link to Live Timing to the first post.

Practice 2:
Huge problems with grip for everyone. Pure luck was the factor. WTF is going on, Canada? :fffuuu:

Shitty weather :frowning:

It was dry on the track IIRC…
EDIT: LOL. After all, it looks like McLarens were running full tank to check race pace.
+
Cold conditions.
So nothing to be worried about yet.

Hamilton storms the front, gets on pole in the last seconds, rolls along the straight, gets out of the car, pushes it along, gets busted by the silver police.

Webber & Vettel, however, surprised with their 2-3, while Button was disappointed with his 5th, even leaving that fucktard Alonso 4th in the front. Seriously, Jenson, what the fuck. I’m disappoint.

Also, Force India is now in the game with 9th and 6th, while Schumi couldn’t even get to Q3 with 13th.

Okay, guys, what do you think about it? And more importantly, what do you think about about tomorrow’s race?
My hopes are that Button overtakes/outlaps those blue faggots. And since there’s rain and two (or even more) pitstops predicted, they hold some ground.
Crossing fingers xXxXx

What an excellent race! Loved it!

Canadian GP: McLaren One-Two in Montreal Thriller as Red Bull strategy fails

In today’s 70 laps of many overtakes, Brittish chances looked bland as they started on already worn out softer tyres (and that is in Montreal where tyres get killed pretty fucking fast). They were beaten by Red Bulls as latter were on harder compound: Vettel overtook Hamilton, Webber (who, despite gearbox penalty, had a great start and made it up to 5th) - Button, which led both brits to stop for harder compound. And later in pits themselves, Alonso passed Hamilton which in turn led Brits to drop down to 6th and 7th, behind Red Bull’s one-two.

Hovever, since on the right compound, McLarens started to fly like concordes, making up position after position. Red Bull, however failed with Vettel’s uncalled decision to get softs in the middle of the race. And Webber’s attempt to open the gap in font led him only to drastically slow down on worn primes as Hamilton, overtaking Alonso by the way, closed the gap and passed the Aussie. That all gave Red Bull only 4th and 5th, as the struggled to keep up with both McLarens’ and Alonso’s pace.
Button - Vettel “battle” for 4th in the middle of the race has shown that with absolutely the same tires, McLaren was HEAPS better, considering the fact that Button was saving tyres for some time, then suddenly opened a huge gap in a couple of laps, which left Vettel crying like a little baby:

Speaking of Alonso, he put up a good fight from 3rd, but was eventually passed during the race first by Hamilton, then by ever so “silky-smooth” Button, who, once again, phenomenally kept his tyres in mint condition throughout the whole race.

So it was all clear for McLaren’s double in the end. Congratulations to both Brits who showed everyone who their daddy is. Funny thing is that Toro Rosso’s Buemi LED THE RACE briefly as leaders pitted. He eventually finished in points, scoring 4 on 8th place.

Also, Schumi is back in business, braking Massa’s front wing on lap 65 and cutting corners. But anyway he was passed by Sutil which left him with only one championship point.

So Mclaren now leads WCC by 22 points with 215 against Red Bull’s 193.
Hamilton is now WDC leader with 109 points over Button’s 106 and Webber’s 103.

EDIT: McLaren’s Live Coverage. This is great, found it yesterday. Chatter, times, live telemetry by vodaphone, commentary.

Twas an exciting race. Schu put me in the mind of an old man who can’t hack it any more resorting to dirty tactics. Which is strange cause I’m a big Schumi fan. But apparently it was all Massa’s fault, lol, even Ferrari are sayin it.

I would like to see Button win the championship again, just because he’s been so underrated for years, and compared unfavourably to Hamilton.

Can’t wait until the next race now.

I sort off went off Hamilton last year, when things weren’t going well for him and his team, he spat his dummy out and sulked badly.

Well, now McLaren has the two best drivers J. Clarkson Voice IN THE WOOORLD. Not only that, but they are perfectly adding up to each other (like Ham being super-aggressive kart style driver and Button - silky-smooth one). And they clearly have respect for each othere, unlike RBR drivers.

I would actually love if in the last race, there would be 3+ drivers fighting for the WDC.

At this rate, i think there will be. God i hope alonso dosn’t win. I really hate him.

OH god he looked so stupid. Now he’s pretty decent compared to that.

If were taking looks into things, Kimi is my fav. He’s my man crush <3

Heh, every girl I know who is keen in F1 always go for Kimi.

I knew it wouldn’t take long for the F-Duct to get banned. When does the ban come into place?

Next season, duh. They were talking about f-duct ban since Australia, so that’s old news.
but shit, 107% qualifying rule :fffuuu:
