The '08 Beemer was one of the best looking modern F1 cars imho. Didn’t like the new regs at first, but they grow on you, the current cars are pretty nice.
Unfortunately, the 09/10 BMW’s are the worst looking things on the planet

F1 is real motorsport. Tatics, speed, design, downforce, grip, reactions and the pinicle of machanical engineering.
Watching a couple of 911’s go round a track is boring. Once you watch F1 you realise that the rest is shit. Excpet WRC. Thats awesome. But watching some some V10 “Supercar” spins its wheels for 10 minutes then (eventually) move of the line is just for yobbos.
Friggin finally. Some sense.
No sponsors ahahahahah.
08 cars were the shit.
I wonder how many Gs they’d produce in corners if slicks were allowed into 08.
People who say F1 is boring then start wooping and cheering when they see a powerslide don’t acctually like motorsport. They cannot call themselves motorsport fans. They can however call themselves retards.
Why are they retards? Because they only watch motorsport for crashes, and that is because they have downsyndrome and should just watch destruction derby with the rest of the red necks.
Drift, however, can be consider motorsport even though it’s considered a circus performance. Those guys actually KNOW how to control a car.
To continue on my point about 08’ cars, I bet they’d rip the tarmac from the ground.
P.S. Canada Practice in 3 days. Bets?
I’d say McLaren, since they’re fastest on the straight line.
Sorry, but is THIS what v8 supercars are all about? Fords and Vauxhalls? This is appalling
Look guys, don’t turn is into a piss puddle, or I’m going to bring countermeasures.
Wow, thats soo embarrassing and soo disappointing. The fact they were about to win makes you want to cry.
Vauxhall?
I see no Vauxhall in that picture.
FYI
Opel, Vauxhall and Holden are the same animal, since GM don’t have money for designers.
You know, i’ve always wondered this. Why are there no women formula 1 drivers?
Ahahahahahahahahah.
Oh u.
Look up Holden brohan, they may be own by GM, but the Commodore is a purely Australian car, so are many other Holden made cars.
The Ford Falcon is also a purely Australian car.
A V6 600kg piece of plastic that are all getting slowe and slower each year has no interest to me what so ever, its boring as fuck to watch and even worse to follow.
The cars are ugly as fuck with all the shit hanging off it.
V8 Supercars are literally that, massive custom built V8 engines by independent teams outside the manufacturer, each car weighs around 2t yet they still hit speeds of 300km/h, they do multiple forms of racing, including sprint circuits, standard tracks and endurance races where the team will drop 1 car and have both drivers use the same car, swapping out.
F1 is pretentious and boring, the engines are made by the manufacturers, they are all made within guidelines and have to follow certain regulation, each race is the same, the commentators are all massive twats with poles up their asses and way over excited over anything more thrilling then a 2 longer then normal pit stop.
Aha, let me stop you there. F1 engines are not V6’s. There 2.4ltr V8’s that rev up to 18,500RPM. Do your supercars V8’s go that high? Nahh about 8,000 if your lucky.
Why would you need an engine to rev that high?
RPM =/= power, remember that.
Last I checked, F1’s had those ridiculous flappy paddle gear boxes.
>
<<
Ridiculous as in the ones on £90,000 supercar? Because i’m pretty sure your not talking about the sequential gearboxes on F1 cars that can change gear 50 times faster than you can blink.
As for revs, you need to research tourque bands and RPM. Sure, reving a standard engine to 8K will have no advantage when all the powers stops at 6K. But these arn’t standard engines, they pnuematic valve springs allows the combustion process to happen much quickly, meaning more power at higher RPM, plus the engines are much more throttle sensative at higher RPM.
Not really an uber race fan myself (but I DID go to the indy 500 qualifying… WOW!)
however my cousin Cody “The kid” Cambensy is an up and coming racer. He has been driving since he was knee high to a grasshopper!
I LOVE YOU Cody dear!!!
Look at it. It still looks like a FUCKING OPEL despite the claims that VE is their first exclusive Aus car.
Do they produce 5g in the corners? No, not really.
Red Bull’s RB6 f1 car, however, clocked at 260 kph in the fucking corner this year.
First practice in 3 hours.
Place your bets, fokkers.

McLaren should be on top today.
Its gonna be McLaren or RedBull. RB still have that blistering speed.
