First Half-Life Experiences

Hi guys I thought I’d play a little game, list down when, (only if) you first played Half-Life and Half-Life 2, what you played it on and say what you like most about them. You can also include the official Half-Life expansions if you wish!

Half-Life, PS2, circa 2003 - I really like the innovative gameplay and how it combined the FPS shooter genre with the puzzle genre and made for a really exciting game.

Half-Life 2, Xbox 360, Jan 2008 - I loved how you get put nearly straight into the action and how the story develops throughout, best part of the game though is the physics and how it can be manipulated with the Gravity Gun.

I think the majority of people would’ve played it on PC so don’t expect too much platform diversity.

HL2: The day it came out whenever it was. I was like this shit is so god damn epic.

I’m not sure if I played HL1 at all before HL2. I still haven’t ever completed it. I can’t stand the late 90’s graphics. Waiting for BMS =/

^^ :open_mouth: shun the non believer…

Played all of them on PC when or immediately after they were released.

Except Decay, which I still played on PC first, but only about half a year ago.

wtf

gtfo

haha well said.:freeman:

Ravenholm.

I remember playing HL1 back in 2003/2002/whatever. The train sequence was too long, and I got bored of it.

And what do you know, he did.

FUCK YOU.> :frowning:

Anyway, meeting my first zombie in Half-Life, scared the shit out of me. I was only seven at the time, I just watched him fuck up the guard then he turned around and I was like :[, then I bashed it’s face in and was like  then I saw the other one and was like :retard:.
